The warranty for manufacturing defects in 18k gold or platinum jewelry is 6 (six) months. It does not cover natural wear and tear from use, nor damage caused by misuse, such as:

• Dents
• Breakage of chains or bracelets
• Breakage or loss of precious stones or any stones set in the jewelry
• Damage to the jewelry caused by contact with: sweat, chlorine, salt water, chemicals, cleaning products, makeup, hot water, perfumes, creams and hairsprays, alcohol
• Changes in the natural state of precious or semi-precious stones

White gold jewelry requires periodic maintenance (rhodium plating) to preserve its shine and color. The rhodium plating tends to wear off with use and contact with creams, perfumes, and soaps, which is not a manufacturing defect. However, OROROSA will perform one semi-annual maintenance service (every 6 months) at no additional cost.

Emeralds, amethysts, aquamarines, topazes, morganites, and other semiprecious stones are especially sensitive to impacts. The warranty does not cover breakage of the stones.

Jewelry with stones may experience wear and tear on the settings with normal use. When the stones are bumped or rubbed, they may become loose. This is not a product defect and is not covered by the warranty.

The loss of center diamonds of 0.10 ct and above will be the responsibility of the customer, as OROROSA Jewelry performs quality control checks on all pieces before delivery. These losses are not covered by the warranty.

The weave of some bracelets and chains may stretch over time, but this is not a manufacturing defect.

Resizing gold rings by up to one size will be done free of charge.

Exchanges will be made within a maximum of fifteen (15) calendar days from the date of purchase. Provided the product is in perfect condition, unused, and returned with its case and original receipt.

Once an exchange has been made, another exchange of the same item is not permitted.

Jewelry that has been altered (resized or re-engraved) at the customer’s request at locations or establishments other than OROROSA will not be exchanged.

Pieces from other brands containing any type of precious stones will not be accepted due to the delicate nature of these materials and the brand’s commitment to the safety and care of each piece of jewelry.

OROROSA offers gemological certificates, which are free for jewelry with stones larger than 0.50 cts.
